The 2010 5-Day Bracket Championship came to a close on Saturday with Troy Williams of Bradenton, Fla. earning the most overall points. Cory Hedgecock, Carl Drake Jr., Stephen McCrory and Dave Connolly rounded out the top 5 in points. NHRA Top Fuel driver Shawn Langdon finished the 5-day event eighth in points.
Dave Connolly took the Tuesday Day 1 win in the 5-Day Bracket Championships. Connolly, well-known in the NHRA Pro Stock class, won in the final round on Tuesday in the 1/4-mile race when Steve Sisko turned on the red light. J.P Hickman took the 1/8 mile win on Tuesday.
On Day 2, Nick Folk won in the 1/8th mile over Brian Niedomanski in the final round on Wednesday. Gary Williams claimed the top prize in the 1/4-mile race on Wednesday.
On Thursday, New York resident Carl Drake Jr. defeated Troy Williams.
Cory Hedgecock of London, Tenn. took the Day 4 win over Stephen McCrory of Taylorsville, Ga.
Saturday Jon Siegel from Lakeland, Fla. took the final win of the 5-Day Bracket Championships over Mark Goyette.
