In an effort to assist Palm Beach International Raceway (PBIR) in reaching its full potential in the Palm Beach County community three new employees have been added to the staff.
Brent Hutson has been added as the web-master and graphic designer, Melissa Misak will serve as executive assistant to President and CEO Jason Rittenberry and Leah Vaughn was named public and media relations manager for PBIR and the Palm Beach Driving Club (PBDC).
Hutson brings a wealth of talent to the staff at PBIR. He was previously employed by Homestead-Miami Speedway as the assistant manager for new media. While there, he managed the Web site and developed, designed and branded all print material for the company. At PBIR, Hutson will concentrate on improving the overall design of Web site and print material.
Misak brings six years of experience to serve as executive assistant to the president and CEO of PBIR. Misak recently served as administrative assistant at Palm Beach Show Group, which produces high-end jewelry, art and antique shows. She will manage Rittenberry’s schedule and assist in the day to day duties at the track.
Vaughn has two years of motorsports public relations experience previous to PBIR. As public and media relations assistant at Gateway International Raceway in Madison, Ill. she worked with the media and public to promote various national events and played a large role in writing information for the track Web site. Vaughn will serve as the primary contact person for all media inquiries for PBIR and PBDC.
