DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. – RDD Motorsports of Deerfield Beach, Florida, one of North America's top driver development programs, completed two separate testing programs over the past two weeks as development drivers Dalton Sargeant and Sebastian Ordonez continue to build on their open wheel programs. Running at the Palm Beach International Raceway, the team hit the track for two days on April 17 and 18, which was followed by two more days on April 26 and 27. Working with Dalton Sargeant was Grand American Daytona Prototype driver Oswaldo Negri Jr. The veteran open wheel and sports car driver added his years of driving and coaching experience to the established program already in place with RDD Motorsports, giving 13-year-old Sargeant a full program of technical development.

"I've known Ozz (Oswaldo Negri Jr.) for many years. I've been following his career with great interest," comments RDD Motorsports owner Andre Serra. "It was great that Ozz could come out to coach at our test program. He is very detailed and really added to the program."

The RDD Motorsports Driver Development program has been working very hard on their 2011 formula car program as they expand their fleet of cars. With the goal of adding more drivers and tracks to the program, RDD is quickly becoming the best junior development program in the country. The team hit the track in their Formula RDD open wheel cars using the same state of the art technology drivers can expect to see as they move up the racing ranks.

Sebastian Ordonez will next see Skip Barber action at Virginia International Raceway on April 29 to May 1 for round two of the Skip Barber National Series. At the opening round in March at Sebring International Raceway in Florida, Ordonez collected two top tens including a trip to the podium in race two were he took second place. He sits third in the points standings heading into the next round of double header racing action. The RDD Motorsports team will head to Homestead Karting on April 30 to May 1 for the opening weekend of the South Florida RMax Challenge with drivers Logan and Dalton Sargeant. In 2010 the South Florida RMax Challenge was one the nation's most hotly contest Rotax regional series as drivers look to qualify for the US Rotax Grand Nationals.

"The formula car program is going along very well. We are currently expanding our fleet and will be adding more test dates shortly," continues Serra. "Rafael (Matos) will continue to be a big part of the program as he works around his Indy Car program."
