Three Palm Beach Driving Club members – Peter Collins, Mitch Pagery and Richard Zahn – and the Club Pro Shane Lewis will take the green flag on Saturday, January 30 for one of the most prestigious motorsports events in the country, the Rolex 24 at Daytona.
The grueling road course race kicks off Saturday afternoon and consists of 24 hours of racing in two different classes, Daytona Prototype (DP) and Grand Touring (GT). There are 15 DP entries and 30 GT entries.
Club members Richard Zahn and Peter Collins, along with the Club Pro Shane Lewis are all a part of Autohaus Motorsports in the GT class. Club member Mitch Pagery is racing with Alex Job Racing, also in the GT Class.
Intense training, focus and teamwork skills are all required to be a participant in this grueling event at Daytona International Speedway. Palm Beach International Raceway would like to wish the best to our Palm Beach Driving Club Members and Pro.
