Experience the synergy between “Exotic Cars, and Exotic Chariots” at A Day of Horsepower on April 8 at 11 am at the Palm Beach International Raceway. The event, hosted by World Chariot Racing Association and Celebrity Farms,intends to demonstrate that harness racing holds as much thrill and excitement as auto racing. VIP access begins at 11 am and public access at 5pm.

In collaboration with its “Platinum sponsors” ‐ Theometrics, RC Dolner, Streamline Design and The Jeff Andretti Coaching Group ‐ World Chariot Racing Association and Celebrity Farms, the event promise to thrill attendees with sleek lines, explosive power, speed, agility and innovation.

During this adrenaline‐filled day at the Palm Beach International Raceway on April 8, VIP’s will Enjoy Celebrity Status and access to personal high‐performance driving instructions by world‐class professional trainer, Staffan Lind as well as drivers and coaches, Jeff Andretti and Kai Goddard. This driving session will open the test driver’s eyes to the ins and outs of track talk, horse and vehicle dynamics, control, seating position, braking, shifting and cornering of exotic cars and Chariots – it is great for drivers who just can’t drive 55 mph, and whether they prefer one horse power or hundreds,this event will delight car and horse lovers alike.

The World Chariot Racing Association will showcase their custom auto racing‐inspired chariots, and guests will have the opportunity to see the future of harness racing for the first time. In addition,attendees will have the chance to take advantage of lead‐follow track sessions, experience one‐on‐one trackside coaching, sit‐in on hot laps driven by Jeff and Kai and meet Celebrity Farms prized horses. A Day of Horsepower will launch with a VIP session starting at 1 pm, after which the event will be open to the public at 5 pm.

Attendees at this “Green‐collar racing”™ event will be able to observe that one horsepower can be just as electrifying as 600 horsepower. Sam Stathis, Founder and Chairman of the World Chariot Racing Association and Owner of Celebrity Farms, remarked, “I’ve sat behind fast cars, fast boats, and fast planes and I can attest that one horse power is just as exciting as 600. And, if the excitement is not enough to win you over, the byproduct of our one horsepower is not detrimental to the environment, it helps to nurture it.” With this event, the World Chariot Racing Association aims to increase the public’s exposure to environmentally friendly chariot‐style horse racing which is as equally thrilling as auto racing competitions.

As with their last event, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to The Chris Vasiliou Memorial Foundation, which was established after 14‐year old Chris Vasiliou lost his battle to Vasculitis after weeks of struggling. The foundation aims to raise awareness and find a cure for Vasculitis. World Chariot Racing Association and Celebrity Farms is as passionate about raising awareness about Vasculitis as it is about helping to increase the awareness of “Sustainable Racing”™ their star horses and chariotstyle racing.
