Palm Beach International Raceway will be hosting an open test day this Saturday, May 29 for motorcycle racers.
Riders will be split into three different levels based on previous riding experience. The first level, novice, is for beginner racers only. Control riders will be on track during that time as well, to assist the novice riders and teach them fundamentals.
The next level, amateur, is for the less experienced racers and the more experienced street riders. The expert level of riders is for racers with competition licenses only.
This open track day is great for riders to get the chance to take their bikes off the street and ride them in a safe, controlled environment. It also provides the racers a chance to test and tune their motorcycles.
Gates open at 7 a.m. Saturday and the track is hot from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Each rider pays $155 for the day. Pay $50 to add a rider and $40 to add a bike. All racers in the Expert Class will require a valid competition license. The Novice and Amateur classes do not need a competition license to participate. Spectators pay $15 and children 12 and under are free.
