As the largest gathering of Ferrari’s in North America makes its stop for a two-day event where more than one hundred Ferrari’s lap around Palm Beach International Raceway, the Palm Beach Driving Club is providing a special opportunity to take a free ride around the course with Derek Bell and Shane Lewis.
On the 20th anniversary of the event, spectators have the chance to take a free ride around the two-mile, 11-turn road course with two of the best drivers in sportscar racing. Derek Bell is a 5-time 24 Hours of LeMans Winner and World Sportscar Champion and serves as a Palm Beach International Raceway ambassador. Veteran Sportscar racer Shane Lewis, who won at the prestigious 24 Hours of Nurburgring, is the exclusive club’s race pro.
To register for a free Ferrari ride visit the Palm Beach Driving Club trailer on the paddock either Thursday, January 20 or Friday, January 21 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
“Not often do you get to take a free ride in a Ferrari around a race track,” said Ken Fengler, vice president and general manager of the PBDC. “But it’s even more rare to ride with a 5-time LeMans champ like Derek or with someone with as much experience as Shane. This truly is a exceptional opportunity that anyone can take advantage of.”
The Palm Beach Driving Club is also giving away a one year membership. Club members have access to track sessions 52 weeks a year. These sessions offer four to eight hours of open track driving, private instruction, trackside car service and fine dining.
